Small Bubble (3/16") is the best for wrapping small, lightweight items, multiple items in a carton and for surface protection.

Medium Bubble (5/16") provides a combination of surface protection, shock absorption and void-fill.

Large Bubble (1/2") is usually sold as a void-fill item.
